Course of the voyage

How we work — step by step

A simple, predictable process. You always know where the project stands and what happens next.

STAGE 1 / MOORING

Talk & estimate

We get to know your idea, business goals and budget. Within a few days you receive a concrete estimate and timeline.

STAGE 2 / CHART

Design & prototype

We create wireframes and a clickable prototype. We test assumptions before the first line of code is written.

STAGE 3 / VOYAGE

Iterative development

We build in short sprints. Every week or two you see working progress — not slide decks.

STAGE 4 / DESTINATION

Launch & growth

We ship the product, monitor it in production and keep developing it together with your business.

A software house in Szczecin, Poland: small team, full ownership

CodePort is the brand of Shostak & Stawicki — a Polish software development company based in Szczecin, a port city looking out at the Baltic and the rest of Europe.

We work as a small team, so there is no 'passing the project between departments'. The people you talk to at the start are the same people who design and write the code. We work with clients from Poland and abroad — in English, Polish, German, Ukrainian and Russian.

  • One team from estimate to launch — no subcontractors or middlemen
  • Constant contact and regular progress demos — you see a working product, not reports
  • Contract, NDA and transparent stage-based billing
  • Full rights to the code and design once the project is settled

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website or app cost?

Every project is priced individually — the cost depends on the scope of features, the design and integrations. After a short call, you receive a concrete price range and timeline within 2–3 business days. We bill in stages, so you always know what you're paying for.

How long does a project take?

A simple company website usually takes 2–4 weeks. A web application or product MVP — 2 to 4 months, depending on scope. We agree on a detailed schedule with milestones before the start and stick to it.

Do you work with clients from abroad?

Yes — most of our collaboration is remote. We communicate in English, Polish, German, Ukrainian and Russian. Online meetings, a shared project board and regular demos make distance irrelevant.

Who owns the rights to the code and design?

You do. Once the project is settled, we transfer full rights to the code and the design. The code goes to your repository and all service accounts are registered to your company. On request, we sign an NDA even before the first call.

What happens after launch?

We don't disappear. We offer technical support, monitoring, backups and further product development — from small fixes to new features. Many of our projects grow with the client's business for years.
