2. What data we process
- Contact form data: full name, e-mail address, phone number (optional field) and message content.
- Cost calculator and brief data: your answers about the project (e.g. project type, features, integrations, language versions, budget, timeline) and the features you describe in your own words. In the brief also your company name, industry and current website address. When you send the calculator result or the brief — also your full name, e-mail address and, if you provide it, your phone number (optional field).
- Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, date and time of the request) to keep the site secure and operational.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry, correspondence and preparing an estimate or an offer — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest: communicating with people interested in our services).
- The effort estimate in the calculator and the preliminary specification from the brief that you request — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Server logs — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest: keeping the site secure and operational).
4. Data recipients
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) — website hosting and form handling. Data submitted through the forms is processed on Netlify's servers under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Anthropic, PBC (USA) — provider of the artificial intelligence model. When you describe a feature in your own words in the calculator, or ask for a preliminary specification in the brief, we send the content of those answers to Anthropic's model, which prepares the estimate or the specification. We do not send it your name or e-mail address. The transfer to the USA is based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Please do not enter personal data or confidential information in the descriptions unless it is needed to describe the project.
- E-mail correspondence is handled by our mail provider.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Retention period
We keep correspondence data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and afterwards for a maximum of 3 years for potential claims or follow-up conversations, unless the law requires a longer period.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, as well as to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (PUODO) or your local data protection authority. To exercise your rights, write to info@codeport.pl.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no cookies. For visit statistics we use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia) — a tool that stores nothing on your device, collects no personal data and does not track users across sites; the data is kept in the European Union. Fonts are served from our own server, so the site does not connect to Google's servers.
In your browser's memory (localStorage) we keep only what the features you use yourself need: your chosen language (cp-lang), the note that you closed the language hint bar (cp-hint) and your progress in the brief (cp-brief). This data stays on your device, serves neither tracking nor marketing, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Language hint. To offer you the site in your own language we check only the country of your connection — it is recognised on their side by our hosting provider (Netlify). We do not read, store or pass on your IP address.
8. Voluntary provision of data
Providing your data is voluntary, but necessary for us to respond to your enquiry. The phone number is entirely optional — give it only if you prefer a phone call; without it we reply by e-mail.
