App and website estimates: indicative net prices

The software development cost calculator works on an hourly model: it adds up the hours spent on the design, the programming, the features and the integrations, then multiplies them by transparent rates — programming €46/h net, design €35/h net. Below are typical price ranges for the projects we estimate most often. These are indicative figures: the exact price depends on the scope, so we prepare the final estimate after the project brief and a short call.

Euro amounts converted at the NBP mid-market rate of 14 September 2026 (€1 = 4.3391 zł) and rounded. We invoice in PLN.

More on the scope of work: websites, web applications, mobile apps and UX/UI design. We give a detailed cost breakdown in the articles how much a website costs, how much a web app costs and how much a mobile app costs.

How we calculate the estimate: hours of work × rate

The calculator's result is the sum of hours for each part of the project. Six things affect the number of hours:

  • Type of project and number of screens. The base effort depends on whether you are building a website, an online shop, a web app or a mobile app. With 5–15 subpages or screens, the base design and programming hours go up about 1.7 times, and above 15 — about 2.6 times.
  • Design. Ready-made Figma wireframes cut the design hours roughly fivefold. A design together with visual identity (logo, colours, design system) means about 55% more design hours.
  • Features and integrations. Each one adds a set number of programming hours — indicative figures are in the tables below.
  • Language versions. 2–3 languages mean an extra 8–20 hours, 4 or more — 16–40 hours.
  • Deadline. An urgent start with priority in the queue means a 20% surcharge.
  • Support after launch. Ongoing care is usually 5–15 hours a month, i.e. €230–690 net per month.

The calculator prices process automation and system integration differently: instead of pages, it adds up hours for the selected processes, connected systems and extras, and when a system has no API or documentation it adds about 60% to the connector hours. More about these services: process automation and system integration.

Your feature is not on the list? In step 4 of the calculator, describe it in your own words — AI will price it in hours and cost along with the rest of the project. Connections to KSeF (Poland's national e-invoicing system), Allegro (Poland's largest online marketplace) or your own API are described on the system integration page.

How much process automation and system integration cost

For automation and integration, the calculator adds up the hours of the processes and connections you select. Every project also needs groundwork — architecture, logs, error handling and deployment: 10–20 h for automation and 12–24 h for integration. When a system has neither an API nor documentation, the hours for connections grow by approx. 60%.

Example: cost estimate for a mobile app MVP

A mobile app with up to 5 screens, interface design from scratch, accounts and login plus push notifications, one language version, no urgent deadline. Here is what the calculator returns:

Part of the projectHoursCost, net
Interface design (€35/h)28–58 h€980–2,030
Programming (€46/h)85–210 h€3,910–9,660
Accounts and notifications (€46/h)16–44 h€740–2,020
Totalca. 130–310 h€5,630–13,710

The range is wide because at this stage we do not know the details of the features. After the brief and a call, we narrow it down to a specific figure with a schedule.

From the calculator to a detailed estimate

  1. Calculator — result straight away. You answer questions about the project and immediately see an indicative price range broken down into design, programming, features and integrations, plus an approximate timeline. You leave your name and email only if you want an exact quote.
  2. Brief — preliminary specification straight away. In the detailed project brief you describe the goal, the features and the style of the project, and AI prepares a preliminary technical specification on that basis.
  3. Reply from the team — within one working day. We ask about the details and arrange a short call. If you need it, we sign an NDA beforehand.
  4. Free detailed estimate with a schedule — in 2–3 working days. This applies to websites as well as applications. We settle the project in stages on the basis of a contract.

Costs after launch

  • Website: domain ca. €12–28 a year, hosting €0–140 a year, SSL certificate usually free.
  • Mobile app: Apple Developer account 99 USD a year, Google Play 25 USD one-off, a server from about €10 a month. Maintenance is usually 15–25% of the build cost per year.
  • Technical support: monitoring, backups, updates and further development — typically 5–15 hours a month at the hourly rate.

How to prepare for an app cost estimate

The more we know at the start, the narrower the price range. Before filling in the brief, it is worth gathering:

  • the business goal — what problem the app or website is meant to solve;
  • the users and their roles: customers, employees, administrators;
  • the features essential in the first version and those that can wait;
  • systems to connect: payments, CRM, ERP, KSeF, warehouse system;
  • existing materials: wireframes, visual identity, examples of solutions you like;
  • the planned start date and budget.

Frequently asked questions about estimates

Is an estimate for a website or app free?

Yes. The calculator, the brief and the detailed estimate with a schedule are free.

How accurate is the calculator's result?

It is an indicative price range worked out from the hourly model based on your answers. The final figure depends on the details we settle in the brief and the call, so the detailed estimate may differ from it.

How long does it take to get an estimate?

You get the price range from the calculator and the preliminary specification from the brief straight away. We reply within one working day, and we prepare the detailed estimate with a schedule in 2–3 working days.

Are the prices given net?

Yes. All amounts on this page are net (excl. VAT).

How do you settle the project?

In stages, on the basis of a contract. Once all stages have been accepted and all invoices paid, we hand over full intellectual property rights to the code and design, and the code goes into your repository.

Do you estimate projects from outside Szczecin?

Yes. We run most of our work remotely — in Polish, English, German, Ukrainian or Russian. Our office is in Szczecin at Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego 37/10.
